The Billfish Foundation bestows Club of Excellence award to OCLTC Posted May 29, 2018 The Billfish Foundation will acknowledge the Ocean City Light Tackle Club in November 2018 with its Club of Excellence Award. The Ocean City Light Tackle Club and its members are very grateful for the TBF's recognition of the clubs history and dedication to billfish release fishing. |
76th Ocean City Light Tackle Club Derby Fishing days: May 1-May 4, 2023 Location: Cabo San Lucas, MX DERBY UPDATE Jim Kramer wins his own derby as Derby Chairman by catching 3 fish on day three for a 4 fish total to secure the win! Matt Barrazotto/Chris Calabrese/Jim Motsko take the team win! 39 fish were caught over three tournament days with 33 anglers on 11 boats. There were lots of twists and turns especially with the shifting boats. The bite was slow but some managed to find fish. Our guest, Monty Deel, took a nice second place after catching his third fish on day 2. Craig Lednum caught 3 fish on his Day 2 makeup day due to boat breakdowns collecting a third place finish. The team of Barrazotto, M/ Calabrese, C/ Motsko, J caught a total 6 fish. The difference between 2nd and third place team was only 11 minutes. There were 33 anglers attending this year's event with 20# IGFA line class. Look below for the standings and download the catch report/scoring package.
